Personal History

Johnny Chi-Chen Chiang is currently a doctoral candidate of international studies at University of South Carolina. He was born in 1972 in Taichung, Taiwan. He got his bachelor of diplomacy from National Chengchi University in Taipei in 1994. Johnny Chiang is interested in the study of international relations. After his military service in Kin-Men, Johnny Chiang went to the United States for his graduate study in 1996. In April 1998, he obtained the Master Degree of Public and International Affairs from University of Pittsburgh. Now he is working on his PhD in Department of Government and International Studies at University of South Carolina. He is also working as research assistant in the Center for Asian Studies at University of South Carolina.
